Le souffleur invisible (1984 – 2 minutes 12 / super8mm / 1 bobine, muet)
Dans la vingtaine, je décide de filmer l’endroit précis où, enfant, j’ai eu la vision d’une main spectrale flottant sur une haie. Châtelet en contrebas. Durant le tournage, j’étais agité, je ne parvenais pas à me poser; je n’ai pas touché au rythme, c’est tourné-monté et sans son. J’ai seulement inversé mon endormissement de la fin de la bobine vers du début. J’ai souvent filmé dans cette agitation face à ce qu’il est presque impossible de capter. Une partie de ce film apparait à la fin de Charleroi, le pays aux 60 montagnes.

In my twenties, I decided to film the precise spot where, as a child, I had a vision of a spectral hand floating on a hedge. Châtelet below. When I was shooting, I was agitated, I couldn’t settle down, but I didn’t touch the rhythm, it was shot on location and without sound. I only reversed my sleep from the the end of the reel to the beginning. I have often filmed in this agitation in front of what is almost impossible to capture. A part of this film appears in the end of Charleroi, the country with 60 mountains.
