Ce court film a été conçu comme une visite filmée, spontanément, la manière de Mekas visitant la famille Brakhage (dans Walden)
Nous quittons New York en train vers Westport. Tod Dockstader nous fait découvrir son studio, sa sombre maison où se repose sa femme gravement malade, sa terrasse donnant sur un verger sauvage, il nous emmène ensuite dans son antique Volkswagen jaune vers Sherwood Island State Park où nous découvrons des cailloux incrustés de silice. Le retour se déroule comme l’aller. La musique d’Aerial soutenant les cathéters.

OME # 12 (2007 – 12 minutes 10)
Meeting held in Westport, Connecticut, in May 2006, in the presence of Dominique Goblet.
This short film was conceived as a filmed visit, spontaneously, in the manner of Mekas visiting the Brakhage family (in Walden).
We leave New York by train for Westport. Tod Dockstader shows us his studio, his dark house where his seriously ill wife rests, his terrace overlooking a wild orchard, and then takes us in his antique yellow Volkswagen to Sherwood Island State Park where we discover silica-encrusted rocks. The return journey is the same as the outward journey. Aerial‘s music supporting the catheters.
